Gil Antokal manages the 1st Advantage Mortgage branch in Northbrook, IL. In 2001, after a period of seeking a merger partner for his company, Camelot Mortgage, Mr. Antokal met Paul Lueken of 1st Advantage Mortgage. Recognizing a similar vision, business integrity, and high quality performance in the 1st Advantage mission, Camelot merged with 1st Advantage Mortgage. Camelot Mortgage, a residential mortgage broker, was widely recognized in the industry for its quality and professionalism. Under Mr. Antokal's leadership, Camelot Mortgage was repeatedly nominated for 'A' Paper Broker of the Year, an award given to outstanding brokers for their Professional and Ethical Business Practices, from the Illinois Association of Mortgage Brokers. Mr. Antokal's 12 years in the mortgage industry have honed his special strengths in mortgage loan sales and operations. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Mr. Antokal was a successful producer of internal communication projects and industrial shows for Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Antokal earned a B. A. in History with a minor in Business Administration and International Studies from Bradley University. He also holds the national designation of Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS).
